The restoration work between 2003 and 2005 managed to refurbish the Pazo de Lestrove, the former resting place of the Archbishopric of Santiago, into a quality hotel.

The Pazo de Lestrove, dating back to the 16th century, was historically the resting place of the Archbishopric of Compostela. It is an old mansion on an area of ​​50,000 m2 with forests and gardens, on the outskirts of the town of Padrón, the last residence of the Galician writer Rosalía de Castro. As the mansion had undergone renovations and additions over the centuries a moderate rehabilitation plan was proposed, which would objectively assess these additions and eliminate those considered inappropriate. The entrance, for example, had a small door cut into the wall that surrounds the state; its dimensions were expanded. The main patio was paved with large stone slabs in its centre and two lateral areas of lawn as visual support to the stone walls. Also, the back patio was planned as a small square, balancing the space and highlighting the arched façade. The modern rooms have kept, where possible, their original function. The best areas on the ground floor were reserved for the restaurant and cafeteria. At all times, the new architectural work tried to differ from previous work while maintaining perfect harmony.
